Design Wall Monday, June 1

My design wall is a mess today, as I work my way through assembly of my Modern Rainbow quilt.  But I'm happy with how it is coming together, and I think the end result is going to be what I was hoping for.

In the meantime, I've finished this top. Now to figure out how to quilt it.

I pulled 3 small tops from my quilting pile yesterday, sewed all their backings together, and loaded them up on the new longarm. Managed to get one and a half of them quilted, before I ran out of steam and had to remove the whole shebang.  Hopefully I'll be able to get those back on next weekend and finish them up.  That will be a nice decrease in my "to be quilted" pile, even if they are little ones.

Drop  by Judy's blog to see what everyone else has on their design walls today.

  4. I really like that top. The colors are very calm and cool. The gray really makes the whole thing every circular. Good luck figuring out how to quilt it. That's always my toughest part.
