On the Needles - Oct 19
This is my latest pair of socks. I'm learning to accept socks that don't match perfectly. The widths of the stripes on these kept changing. I suppose if I knit from the top down, I'd at least be able to control the match at the top end. But I hate the thought of kitchener stitching the toe shut, and I like knowing that I'm not going to run out of yarn when I knit toe up (because I can just stop knitting at whatever length works out). But maybe I'll try it once. After 3 pairs of toe-up socks (the only 3 pairs I've ever made) I suppose I should give other techniques a try.
The Loopy Ewe's 4th quarter challenge. It has to be done by December, and take 400 yards of yarn. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. I started this one yesterday while I was waiting for my car to be serviced.
