Design Wall Monday - Feb 11

My design wall today has a bit of everything on it.

At the top are the two baby quilts I showed yesterday.  Just need to get them on (and off) the long arm by next Wednesday to take to guild.

On the lower right is a swoon block.  This is my sample for the block party.  I'll take 12 kits to the other participants, and get back enough blocks to make a quilt.  This block is ready, and my teaching samples are done.  I just have to finish writing the instructions and cut all the fabric.

And on the bottom left are 3 embroidery blocks from the Gardener's Alphabet block of the month.  I won't claim I'm anywhere close to caught up, but I made good progress so far this month.

Drop by Judy's  blog to see more design walls today.

  1. I love what's on your design wall. Your swoon block is so pretty. Your Gardener's Alphabet has me really wanting to do embroidery.

  2. Love seeing all the projects on your design wall. My favorite is your hand embroidery. I've been on an embroidery kick lately. It's easy to take with you in the car.
    Take care.

  4. I love the Swoon Block, I shared it at my Guild Mtg last month. I used this tutorial http://doublenickelquilts.blogspot.com/2012/03/scrappy-nickel-swoon-quilt-block.html. Good luck getting the baby quilts finished in time.
