Stash Report - June 22

I've been an absent blogger recently.  Life has been hectic and I just haven't had the energy to post (plus I haven't been sewing much, so there's not a lot to say).  However, I thought I should pop in before you all think I've disappeared off the face of the earth :)

Yesterday was a sale day at my local quilt shop. And my birthday, so naturally I had to stop in and pick up a few things. I've been wanting to do a blooming 9-patch quilt for some time, and the sale was florals, so that seemed like the perfect opportunity.  I did manage to find some lovely fabrics for my quilt - too bad only 2 of the 7 were florals.

I also finished a quilt this weekend. I'm on a mission because tomorrow is the end of the UFO challenge at guild.  I have one more quilt to bind, and I will have completed all 5 of my tops.

Stash in -

12 1/2 yards for the blooming 9-patch
3 yards just because

Stash out -

7 yards backing
3/4 yards binding
1/2 yard binding on my mystery quilt

Stash totals for the year:
439 3/4 yards in
112 1/2 yards out
Total: 327 1/4  yards in

  2. B9P was my first really big quilt and it's still my favorite. We sleep under it all winter.
