Design Wall Monday - July 28

I had a really productive day yesterday. I got a new quilt loaded on the long arm, and a good start on it. Going to be a long process, but I'm still hoping to finish up the quilts I have on hand before the 20th.

In between sessions with the long arm, I started into my new project.  I love these fabrics - the colours are gorgeous and my poor photography skills, indoors at night, just don't do them justice. I was drooling over these fabrics at the shop on Saturday and ended up bringing them home to make a sample for the shop.

Here's what I got done yesterday.  Just have to sew all the blocks together, and add the border. There's a wonderful border fabric in the set which I'll be using.

Drop by Judy's blog to see what everyone else has on their design walls today.

  1. That fabric is very drool worthy! Reminds me of the Timeless Treasures line with the peacocks. Your quilt is looking fabulous.

  2. Oh, so pretty! Can't wait to play with my set, but I have to finish a wallhanging I told a friend I'd make, first...

  3. Yea for getting things loaded and started quilting on the long arm. I really prefer the piecing but I really appreciate it that I can get projects DONE on the LA rather than fight it under my domestic. Good for you!
