Apparently this is what happens when you continue to drop your seam ripper on the floor. I've always been an advocate of solid floors in a sewing room, rather than carpet. But I do suspect that this would not have happened if I had been dropping the silly thing on carpet.
Now I have to interrupt my sewing to hunt for one of the other seam rippers which I know is hiding in my sewing room.
Killed my favorite ripper dropping on the tile floor. 😪
ReplyDeleteWho knew?! And I was upset when the cap of my favorite ripper cracked. I hope you found your alternate seam ripper.
ReplyDeleteI have at least 6 of those Clover rippers - one for each machine and a couple for handwork cases. Can I ever find one when I need it? NO!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I buy a seam ripper every time I go to the store but I can never find them when I need them!
ReplyDeleteI got a new one, and broke it almost immediately, opening a package of flower pin. Haven't replaced it yet, but my older, getting to be arthritic hands like that larger size!
