Stash Report - Jan 4

My first stash report of the year, and things are not looking good :)  The LQS had their annual anniversary sale, and despite my best intentions, I stopped by to do some shopping.   All the fabric is for backings, for quilts currently in progress. So that's good news, right?  I should have that fabric heading out in no time at all.

38.5 yards in

I did forget about 2 quilts, so I may have to drop by again and see if there is anything left that will suffice for Bonnie's and Judy's mysteries.

Drop by Judy's blog to see how everyone else is starting their year.

  1. Sales are so hard to resist! You could say that you "ONLY" brought home 38.5 yards. You could have purchased so much more! Looking forward to seeing your finished quilts.

  2. You almost have to buy backing fabric when they are on sale, so you did good. I did the same with Connecting Threads before Christmas so the fabric would count for last year.

  3. I would be in the same boat with you if I had stopped at the quilt shop but I actually resisted. Also, I was able to do my damage in December so it doesn't count for the new year! LOL Since you bought for backings and to complete current WIP's, it's not too painful.

  4. Oops. That's ok, you will get that fabric used up quickly and it won't hurt nearly as much when it is in the 'used' column. I do know how hard it is to pass up good sales.
