March UFO
My March UFO is complete! All the way down to hand-stitching the binding. After 3 years sitting as little wedges in a box, I'm happy to have this one off my conscience.
The stack and whack circles are made from a striped fabric. I really like the way they turned out, although my stripes don't always match up exactly.
I quilted this with a spiral in the blocks, and then echo quilting in the background and borders. This isn't a great picture, but it shows some of the quilting lines.
I love the border fabric, which blog readers helped me pick out. And the backing is similar to, but not exactly, the orange in the background. I also included 2 spare blocks in the backing, just because I could. If you click on this picture, you can see the quilting.
