The scary part

For me, this is the scary part of quilt making.  The first bath!  Here goes my beautiful Indigo quilt, into the wash to remove all the marking from my quilting.  This is why I hate marking - I much prefer to do either freehand stipple, or something I can following without marking, like echo quilting or in the ditch.

But, Indigo deserved more, and got it. And now I wait, to see if the lovely blue and white quilt comes out with nice crisp distinction between the colours, or if I have a grey & blue quilt.
