Nothing finished this week, but I'm happy with some progress being made. Now that my Christmas long-arming is almost caught up, I've been able to do some sewing for myself too.
In this week: 6 yards for a new block of the month project (yes, I'm crazy :) )
Stash totals for the year:
485 yards in
186 1/4 yards out
Total: 298 3/4 yards in
Drop by Judy's blog for more stash reports today. I've been thinking about my goals for next year - I'll post more about them later this week. I am still hoping to exceed 200 yards out. I think the "1/2 of my incoming out" goal is unreachable at this point. But I do plan to spend the week between Christmas and New Year quilting some of my 18 (yes, 18!!) tops. That will be good for my stash :)
Whoa! 18 tops! I'm impressed! Your numbers will jump when they get done. Have fun with them!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you have set aside some time to work on your own quilts. It is easy to always put our own quilts at the bottom of the pile.
ReplyDeleteReading other quilter's goal is fun, looking forward to see what goals you will be making.
Good numbers and you still have 2 weeks to reach your goal of 200 out. I hear you about getting customer quilts done so you can do your own. You have 3 more tops waiting than I do. lol It must be some kind of disease that's prevalent among long armers.
ReplyDeleteTwo hundred yards out is realistic. I'm hoping the week after Christmas helps with my stash report too.
