The squares aren't too stable on my wall, so I need to start sewing rows together (which means cutting out my setting triangles). Otherwise, I'll have my entire quilt on the floor and I'll have to put the puzzle pieces together again.
In addition to this project, I now have 2 quilts backed and basted. Hopefully I'll get to them sometime this week.

This is going to be lovely. I HATE it when things start falling off of my design wall!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, when I looked at this close up it looks very intricate. I look forward to seeing your progress
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful quilt. I so like the colors. Good luck on finishing it up and let us see the results.
ReplyDeleteGood plan to get all the rings made first--then most of the decision making is out of the way when it is time to sew. Looking very pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a wonderful quilt. I can see how it could become a puzzle if you don't keep the blocks on the wall and sew things together as you make the blocks--you have some good ideas on how to do that.
ReplyDeleteI fought with several quilts that had pieces that would randomly fall off the wall. No fun. Then one day the dogs came into the sewing room............
ReplyDeleteglen: growing, I am still loving it!
Looks challenging, but it will be lovely...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty color palette. It's already lovely, it will be fabulous when it's all done!
ReplyDeleteThis looks wonderful - I am so tempted to start this pattern right now but I have several other projects I need to get finished - so many quilts, so little time- happy stitching-
